So I ventured out into the street without my camera. Well it's my street so I can easily go back and get it when I have found something to photograph. No need to carry the camera, a selection of lenses and a tripod, I can go back and get exactly what I need.
There are lovely trees in Wayland Road, which have beautiful blossom on them in the spring. But in the autumn the leaves collect on the pavement, generally nobody sweeps them up and they turn to a slippery mush. Linda was sweeping them up. She didn't want her photo taken but we did negotiate this legs and wellies picture:
One pile of dead leaves
One large garden rake
A small amount of sunshine
A variety of slow shutter speeds
Mix carefully and repeat until satisfied.
